Brockton woman suffered mold and water damage to her unit from leak in the buildings roof. Condo Trustee’s failed to fix the roof and the client suffered more damage. During litigation, it came to light that the Trustees had mismanaged the association’s funds and their was not money to repair the roof. Further, the water bill had no been paid in years and there was a lien for thousands of dollars which the town was trying to assess through taxes to the unit owners.
My office was able to successfully remove the delinquent trustees and negotiate the water lien to a manageable level. Further, we were able to negotiate the repairs necessary to my client’s unit to remove the mold and water damage.
